This was a very hard project for me. I upped the saturations, I feathered the image and blended to white. We created longer cords and shadows, and we turned the images into a panoramic photo. My roommate Sean helped me with the images. I really like the way it turned out. I didn't want to put it into a frame but I didn't have a choice because I don't have $200.

Shack it up, seemed a little blurry due to shake. I would have loved to re-do that picture. I guess the best picture was my America flag without being edited. I did some small touch ups on a few of the photo's but most are as is.

I liked what I did to this. If I spent more time I would have tried to reduce the opacity on the left side but not on the right side. By overlaping the two pictures it took away the origional look. I really felt like this gave me a new grasp on different oppertunities I have in creating images.

Process
Portrates are the hardest for me to take, Its hard for me to get people in natural positions. I wanted to be able to have variety while still keeping it a portrate. The Ghost shot wasn't really my thing, I've done that and moved on. I would have had more fun trying to make ghost shots in light places, (editing with opacity). I think because I was cold I didn't have my creative brain on. I like all of my pictures but there wasn't one that I was amazed by. Shack it up, seemed a little blurry due to shake. I would have loved to re-do that picture. I guess the best picture was my America flag without being edited. I did some small touch ups on a few of the photo's but most are as is.

Fine Art Template
Inner Peace I took last semester in Jerusalem, It was taken from the same place the picture Oh Jerusalem was taken from. I did exactly what the book told me to do on that picture. I really liked the turn out on this picture.
Ride- was a picture I took this weekend. I decided I wanted to put the picture inside the letters. After I did that I decided to make my other letters look like a shadow. You might think it looks stupid to be backwards but I promise it looks better than forwards.

CAMERA MOTION PAINTING
Six I Win!
My three pictures were, Down the Road we Go, The Radiation of Love and Six I win.
Down the Road we Go
That was a good time. I was in cow boy boots, outside a grave yard, in the start of the night, while raining, running down the road with a light in my hand trying to simulate the yellow lines. I choose this picture because I loved the colors that emanated that evening. I had to leave the camera on 15 seconds to get far enough down the road to get a cool effect.
The Radiation of Love
This involved Becca, a lazier pen, a key chain light and 30 seconds of fast drawing. I decided to use this picture due to the hearts detail and style. I could have used better ones that outlined the body but I really felt like the heart radiated love.
Six I win
Six I win was me in a car outside of a house waiting for people. I used a street light with housing lights behind it. It took a few tries to start to be able to draw with the camera.

Edit and Boarder Effect
Compliments
The Idea
So I got a little carried away. I have been impressed with Sister Esplin's willingness to recognize the students, so I decided to try and explain the power behind the bright idea award.

Preparation
I went to Idaho Falls and bought a bulb from Porters and jelly beans from Winco. Next I set up my photo shoot, I had my roommate hold a hidden flash light to illuminate the bulb and then I started the 5 hour process of editing in photoshop.
1) I blacked out the background
2) I individually wrote on each jelly bean
3) I sized and morphed the font to look realistic
4) I changed opacity on words to get them to blend
4) I changed opacity on words to get them to blend
5) Created a glow by feathering, expanding and filling with light
6) We resized the bulb and brought in noise to make it look realistic
7) Put in final outline text
8) Created a black boarder
9) Made the green pin strip to match a jelly bean
Zoo of Love
This is a quilt my mom designed and quilted. I had to take some pictures of it for her so I decided I would use one.
I used a Flexible Brushed-on Effect, you can find it in the book No. 11.
I liked this one, I am aware that it looks incomplete because it doesn't have a boarder but I wanted it to look that way. I feel this is a really good effect for a blog.
Wait for It
This picture I took because of the light that bursted through the trees. I couldn't find a good boarder or effect that worked well with this picture so I just used No. 13 Burned Border effect. I even put a small pin strip the same color as the sun.
The reason why I left this boarder is because it is evident on the bottom and seems to fade into the sky.
The Color Red
This photo has a painted effect place on it. It also has No.10 in the book called a Brushed-on Effect.
I like the composition of this peace of art. The boarder looks good, the pin strip draws you in and the different opacities helped give us a more painted brushed feel.

Scannography
ONE SCANS
Cones
Eyes of a Farmer
The Single Scan is my forte because I feel there is more art involved in doing it in one shot. I really enjoyed trying to create a scene out of food. I would like to create an entire photo out of food. I put on the cones because I thought it had an amazing look to it. Those were fun for me to make. With the food I was trying to get depths. The hardest part was making the stem go behind rather than in front and trying to get the noodles to look like it was full.
Multiple Scan
All over the Place
Everywhere At Once
I originally thought that using my nephew to scan would be my one shot. He can't hold still, so I took different picture of his feet and hands. The three small images are just a small example of the pictures I took trying to get the best shot. After I took the shots I realized that I didn't have very good shots of some pictures, like the hand, so I flipped my images.
