These pictures all came from Israel where I lived for a while. I choose these picture because there were aspects in each that stood out as a favorite in my mind. All of these pictures are great by accident. My goal is to first learn how to recreate these pictures, and finally to be able to become more artistic as I shoot. My favorite picture is the picture of the bike, I love the motion of the car, it seems to draw a conclusion of the whole picture in my mind.

  1. Jake, you say you're not a photographer, but you I think you naturally have a good eye and have good composition in most of your photos. They all seem to make sense and are interesting. Good job.

  2. Jake, I am seriously impressed with your cutout of the motorcycle. That takes a lot of talent and patience. You have some great shots on here. I really like the ping pong ball on top of the marker. The contrast of the white against the orange is so interesting. It is an extremely creative shot. At first glance you would never be able to tell what it is but looking more you can see that it is a marker with a ball on top. I loved the story behind that shot too, that you wanted to become a good photographer and you thought that would make a cool shot and you were right, it did! Great job!
